Management buy-out BAAC Netherlands
BAAC Netherlands is an independent research organization that provides a comprehensive range of archaeological and building history research and advisory services. Its archaeological reports provide clear and insightful intelligence to businesses, governments, and institutes. With approximately 70 employees, offices in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Zwolle, and 25 years of experience, BAAC positions itself as one of most renowned players in the sector. BAAC realized various remarkable discoveries, including a 4000-year-old sanctuary in Tiel and a roadway constructed out of wooden logs originating from the 13th century.
The company is solidly represented in the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) and various Dutch archeologist associations. This involvement underscores the bureau’s dedication to the quality of its research.
BAAC Netherlands has been acquired by its management team. The acquisition aims to ensure continuity. Furthermore, the management envisions strengthening BAAC's position and increasing the company’s exposure. BAAC’s founder, Rob Gruben, remains involved in an advisory role for the next year and a half.
