Online physiotherapist software solution FysioRoadmap acquired by Health Cloud Initiative

FysioRoadmap is founded in 1999 by physiotherapist and entrepreneur Frank Duijff. The company unburdens physiotherapy practices in their daily routines by supporting in, amongst others, calendar management, patient registration and documentation, treatment planning, filing, and invoicing. FysioRoadmap is a therapist centric solution, specifically developed by and for physiotherapists based on decades of experience in the field. It translates physiotherapists’ best practices into a web-based application.

The FysioRoadmap electronic health records distinguish themselves by means of a pragmatic and instinctive work process. The calendar is intuitive, and the use of automated invoicing supports in eliminating incomplete and incorrect billings.

Software supplier Health Cloud initiative provides multiple practice management software labels and services. The group serves mental healthcare professionals and speech-, physio-, occupational- and exercise therapists. Health Cloud Initiative’s goal is to unburden 20.000 healthcare professionals in the Netherlands by minimizing the need for administrative tasks through innovative software solutions.

Vortex Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Health Cloud Initiative in mid 2022 and supports the company in accelerating its growth through a buy-and-build strategy. The acquisition of FysioRoadmap follows previous acquisitions of Incura, CRS software, and client portfolios of two software companies.

Health Cloud Initiative quadruples its market share in the paramedical market with the acquisition of FysioRoadmap. Health Cloud Initiative’s products are, after this takeover, used on a daily basis by over 13.000 healthcare professionals. The group has a combined post transaction turnover of circa 10 million euro.
